BOURBON FALL/WINTER COCKTAIL KIT INSTRUCTIONS

 **PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors if you have them available.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

***We have included a pour spout for use with your Bourbon bottle.

**** This kit is designed to create 2 of each of the cocktails listed below if you have chosen the BFA option, 4 if you have ordered the Social format.

 

SMOKED CARAMEL MANHATTAN 

bourbon / salted caramel / vermouth / bitters

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Bourbon
  • Salted Caramel Vermouth
  • Wood chip 
  • 1 small plate (not provided)
  • Lighter or kitchen torch (not provided)
  • Mixing jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building and serving (not provided)
  • Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Amarena cherry

How to build your cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz of bourbon and add to the mixing jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Salted Caramel Vermouth and add to the mixing jar
  3. Using a small plate and a lighter (not provided), in a well ventilated area, light your wood chip on fire.  Be patient with this step: you want to make sure the chip is burning well before you blow it out. 
  4. Blow out the wood chip and quickly place it on the plate.  Cover with a rocks style glass, smoking the glass while you build the drink
  5. Add about ½ cup of ice to the mixing jar
  6. Using the fat end of the bar spoon ( wooden skewer ) stir the cocktail for 20 seconds
  7. Replace the cover back to jar leaving just enough space to strain the cocktail into an ice filled glass (king cube)
  8. Garnish with an amarena cherry on a garnish skewer


AUTUMN SPICED SCOFFLAW

bourbon / lemon / spiced grenadine / vermouth / orange bitters

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Bourbon
  • Spiced Grenadine Vermouth (contains orange bitters)
  • Lemon
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building (not provided)
  • Spiced lemon wheel

How to build your cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz of Bourbon and add to the mixing jar 
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Spiced Grenadine Vermouth, and add to the mixing jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lemon and add to the shaker jar
  4. Add about a 1/4 cup of ice to the mixing jar 
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  6. Shake for 10-12 seconds
  7. Remove the ring and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice
  8. Garnish with spiced lemon wheel

bourbon / pumpkin spice / coffee / egg


What you will need to build your cocktail

  • Bourbon 
  • Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew
  • Egg White
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building (not provided)
  • Spiced pumpkin seeds

How to build this cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from the bottle of Bourbon and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 3.0 oz from the pouch marked Pumpkin spiced Cold Brew and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked egg and add to the shaker jar
  4. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  5. Dry shake (no ice) all ingredients as hard as you can for 20 seconds
  6. Remove the ring and cover, and add ¼ cup of ice
  7. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  8. Shake for additional 8-10 seconds
  9. Remove the ring and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this drink straight up)
  10. Garnish with spiced pumpkin seeds


EVENINGS IN THE ORCHARD 

bourbon / cinnamon / lemon / apple cider / sarsaparilla


What you will need to build your cocktail

  • Bourbon
  • Apple cider
  • Cinnamon Lemon Sarsaparilla
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure 
  • Ice for building and serving (not provided)
  • Fall straw and orange wheel for garnish

How to build this cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from the bottle of Bourbon, and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Cinnamon Lemon Sarsaparilla and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Apple Cider and add to the shaker jar
  4. Add ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the jar 
  6. Shake the cocktail for 15 seconds
  7. Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar enough to strain the cocktail into an ice filled glass
  8. Garnish with orange wheel and fall straw
