CSACI - Leaps and Bounds Instructions

         
Happy Cocktail Day!
**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

 

Leaps & Bounds

Gin, lemon, rose, butterfly pea, sugar, egg whites

What you will need to build your Leaps & Bounds

  • Mini bottle of Gin (or pouch of non-alcoholic gin)
  • 1.0 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1.0 oz Rose Water Butterfly Pea Simple 
  • 0.5 oz egg white
  • Shaker jar
  • 1 can of sparkling or soda (for mocktails)
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building your drink
  • Dried rose for garnish

How to build your Leaps & Bounds 

  1. Empty mini bottle of gin (or pouch of non- alcoholic gin)  into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.0 oz. of lemon juice and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 1.0 oz of Rose Water Butterfly Pea Simple and add to the jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz. of egg white and add to the jar
  5. Replace the cover to the jar and screw on the lid 
  6. Dry shake (no ice) all ingredients for as long as your arms can handle (the more you shake the better the froth)
  7. Unscrew the lid and remove the cover from the jar
  8. Add about 1/4 cup of ice to the shaker jar
  9. Shake for an additional 8-10 seconds
  10. Unscrew the lid from the jar and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this one on a little bit of ice in a tall glass if you have one)
  11. Once the drink has separated, open a can of sparkling or soda and slowly add about 3-4 oz. you will see the foam rising to the top of the glass, try and get the foam so it is above the rim of the glass
  12. Garnish with dried rose

Mary Pickford

Rum, maraschino, pineapple, grenadine

For this cocktail, you will need the following:

  • Mini bottle of rum (or non alcoholic rum pouch)
  • 2.0 oz. pineapple-grenadine-maraschino 
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building your drink
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Cherry

How to build the Mary Pickford

  1. Empty mini bottle of rum (or pouch of non-alcoholic rum)  into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 2.0 oz. of pineapple-grenadine-maraschino and add it to the shaker jar 
  3. Add about 1/2 cup of ice to the jar
  4. Replace the cover  and screw on the lid to the shaker jar
  5. shake for 10-12 seconds
  6. Unscrew the lid and slide the cover enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this cocktail straight up in a coupe style glass)
  7. Garnish with cherry on a bamboo skewer
