Holiday Spiced Rum Instructions 23

**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

**We recommend opening the packages using scissors. Please cut above the reseal line. Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

 

Mele Kalikimaka

Spiced rum, spiced cranberry, allspice dram, orgeat, orange, lime

 

What you will need to build this cocktail

 

  • Bottle of spiced rum
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Pouch marked Spiced Cran-Orgeat
  • Pouch marked Allspice Dram-Orange
  • Pouch marked Lime
  • Lots of Ice for building and serving
  • Umbrella 
  • Royal icing wreath
  • Clean kitchen towel (not included)
  • Small frying pan (not included)

 

 

How to build this cocktail

 

  1. Using your clean kitchen towel laid out on a solid surface, large cutting board works best
  2. Add about 1 ½ cups of ice to the center of the towel
  3. Fold up the edges of the towel creating a pouch of ice
  4. Using a small frying pan, carefully crush the ice in the pouch, you will feel the ice crushing under the pan as you hammer it gently. Repeat this step until you are left with enough crushed ice to fill your glass (you will want to over fill so you are left with a ice mound that is above the rim of the glass
  5. Measure 1.5 oz from your bottle of Spiced Rum, and add it to the shaker jar
  6. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Spice Cran-Orgeat, and add it to the shaker jar
  7. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked AllSpice Dram - Orange J, and add it to the shaker jar
  8. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lime, and add it to the shaker jar
  9. Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker jar, and replace the ring and cover
  10. Shake the cocktail for between 20 - 25 seconds
  11. Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into the the crushed ice filled glass
  12. Garnish with the royal icing wreath around the mini cocktail umbrella and stick the umbrella base into the crushed ice

Wet Bandits

Spiced Rum, cachaca, oleo saccharum, house spiced grenadine, grapefruit, bitters

 

What you will need to build this cocktail

 

  • Bottle of Spiced Rum
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Pouch marked Grapefruit-Cachaca
  • Pouch marked House Spiced Grenadine-Oleo Saccharum
  • Pouch marked Lime
  • Ice for building
  • Ice for serving
  • Pretzel christmas tree garnish 

 

How to build this cocktail

 

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from your bottle of spiced rum, and add it to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Grapefruit-Cachaca, and add it to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked House Spiced Grenadine-Oleo Saccharum, and add it to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lime, and add it to the shaker jar
  5. Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker jar, and replace the ring and cover 
  6. Shake the cocktail for 20-25 seconds
  7. Fill a tall glass with ice
  8. Remove the ring and slide the cover off the shaker jar just enough to strain the cocktail into your ice-filled glass 
  9. Garnish your cocktail with your pretzel christmas tree over the top of the glass

 

 

Silent Night

Spiced rum, whiskey, salt caramel, smoke

 

What you will need to build this cocktail

 

  • Bottle of Spiced rum
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Barspoon (chopstick)
  • Pouch marked Salted Caramel Whiskey
  • Wood chip
  • Lighter or kitchen torch (not included)
  • Small plate (not included)
  • Ice for building
  • Ice for serving
  • House made salted caramel garnish

 

How to build your cocktail

 

  1. Using your small kitchen plate, lighter, and wood chip in a well ventilated area, light the wood chip on fire.  Let the chip burn for as long as you can; the more red  the embers on the wood chip are, the better the smoke will be.  Once happy with your embers on the wood chip, blow out the flames place the chip on the plate, and cover with your glass
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from your bottle of Spiced Rum and add it to your mixing jar
  3. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Salt Caramel Whiskey and add it to the mixing jar
  4. Fill your mixing jar with ice
  5. Using the chopstick, stir the cocktail for 20-25 seconds
  6. Fill your smoked glass with ice
  7. Replace the cover to the top of the jar, leaving enough of a space to strain the cocktail into your iced filled smoked glass
  8. Garnish with the salted caramel on the side of the glass

Spiced rum, spiced amaretto, Vodkow lactose free creamer, maple, coffee

 

What you will need to build this cocktail

 

  • Bottle of Spiced rum
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Pouch marked Spiced Amaretto / Coffee / Maple
  • Vokow lactose free creamer
  • Biscotti
  • Ice for building

 

How to build this cocktail

 

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from your bottle of Spiced Rum, and add it to your shaker jar
  2. Measure 2.5 oz from the pouch marked Spiced Amaretto / Coffee / Maple, aand add it to the shaker jar
  3. Measure half of the contents from the Vodkow Creamer, and add it to the shaker jar
  4. Add about 1 cup of ice to the shaker jar, and replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  5. Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into a coupe style or small wine glass
  6. Garnish with the biscotti across the top of the glass
