Manhattan Maple Run

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

Manhattan Maple Run

Whiskey, chai infused sweet vermouth, maple, smoke


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • Red solo cup measure
  • Mixing jar
  • Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
  • Mini bottle of whiskey
  • Pouch marked Maple Chai Sweet Vermouth
  • Wood chip
  • Garnish skewer
  • Amarena cherry
  • Lighter (not included)
  • Small kitchen plate (not included)
  • Ice for building
  • Ice for serving

How to build this cocktail


  1. In a well ventilated area light the wood chip on fire, and let it burn as long as you can before blowing it out, and placing it on the small plate.  Cover the smoke chip with the glass you will be serving the cocktail in. Set aside to smoke while you build the cocktail
  2. Empty the mini bottle of whiskey to the mixing jar
  3. Empty the contents from the pouch marked Maple Chai Sweet Vermouth to the mixing jar
  4. Add about ½ cup of ice to that mixing jar
  5. Place the fat end of the bar spoon into the mixing glass right to the bottom
  6. Stir the cocktail by tracing the inside of the jar opening for about 30 seconds
  7. Add ice to your smoked glass
  8. Replace the cover to the mixing glass leaving enough of an opening to strain the cocktail into the ice-filled smoked glass
  9. Garnish with the amarena cherry on the garnish skewer
