Ottawa Embassy Suites Cocktail Experience Instructions

Happy Cocktail Day!

**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors. Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

Rosemary Gimlet

What you will need to build your Rosemary Gimlet

  • Mini bottle of Gin
  • Rosemary lime pouch
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building your drink (not included)
  • Mini clothespin
  • Lime wheel

How to build your Rosemary Gimlet

  1. Empty the mini bottle of gin to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 2.0 oz of the rosemary lime cordial and add to the shaker jar
  3. Add about 1/2 cup of ice to the shaker jar
  4. Replace the cover and screw on the lid to the shaker jar
  5. Shake for 1-12 seconds 
  6. Unscrew the lid from the jar and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this straight up, in a coupe style glass)
  7. Clip the lime wheel to the side of the glass using the mini clothespin

Embassy Violet

For this cocktail, you will need the following:

  • Mini bottle of vodka

  • Blueberry pouch

  • Lime pouch

  • Shaker jar

  • Red solo cup measure

  • Ice for building your drink (not included)

  • Dehydrated orange wheel

How to build this cocktail

  1. Measure 2.5 oz. of the blueberry and add it to the shaker jar

  2. Measure 0.5 oz. of fresh lime juice, and add it to the shaker jar

  3. Empty the mini bottle of vodka to the shaker jar

  4. Add about 1/2 cup of ice to the shaker jar

  5. Replace the cover and screw the lid onto the jar

  6. Shake for 10-12 seconds

  7. Unscrew the lid and slide the cover off the jar enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this cocktail straight up in a coupe-style glass)

  8. Garnish by floating the dehydrated orange wheel in the cocktail

 

Guava Daiquiri

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Mini bottle of rum                                                       
  • Guava pouch                                                                  
  • Demerara pouch                                                              
  • Lime pouch   
  • Shaker jar
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Red solo cup measure                                                                  
  • Dehydrated lime wheel  

How to build this cocktail                  

  1. Empty mini bottle of rum, or measure 1.5 oz and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Guava and add to the jar
  3. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Demerara and add to the jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lime 
  5. Add about ¼ cup of ice to the jar
  6. Screw the lid and cover on to the shaker jar
  7. Shake the cocktail for about 15 seconds
  8. Unscrew the lid and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into your glass ware of choice (we recommend serving this drink straight up)
  9. . Garnish by placing the lime wheel on rim or inside glass.

Peace Tower

What you need to build this drink:

  • Mini bottle of whiskey
  • Pouch marked ginger honey
  • Pouch marked lemon 
  • Solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving (not included)
  • Skewer
  • Ginger candy 

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty mini bottle of whiskey into the mason jar
  2. Measure 1.0 oz ginger honey, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz lemon, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Add ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar, and shake for 10-12 seconds
  5. Remove the ring and use the cover to strain cocktail into ice filled glass
  6. Garnish by skewering candied ginger and resting on the rim of the glass
