Payments Canada Margarita Instructions
Classic Margarita
What you need to build this cocktail:
- 1.5 oz tequila (or non alcoholic gin)
- Pouch marked lime
- Pouch marked orange simple
- Pouch marked burnabrea (egg white)
- Ice for building and serving
- Solo cup
- Shaker jar (mason jar)
- Pink salt rimmer
- Plates (not included)
- Dehydrated lime wheel
How to build this cocktail:
- Using 2 small plates, add about ½ oz of water to the first, and pink salt to the second
- Dip the rim of the glass into the water on the first plate, then the pink salt on the second. Set glass aside while you build the drink
- Measure 1.5 oz of Margarita pouch (aka tequila) , and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked orange simple, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked lime and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked egg, and add to the shaker jar
- Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and dry shake (no ice) all ingredients as hard as you can for 20 seconds
- Remove the ring and cover from the jar, and add about a ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
- Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake for an additional 8-10 seconds
- Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into ice-filled, rimmed glass
- Garnish with a lime wheel in the foam of the cocktail
Spicy Passion Fruit Elderflower Margarita
What you need:
- 1.5 oz tequila (or non alcoholic gin)
- Pouch marked spicy passion fruit elderflower
- Pouch marked lime
- Ice for building and serving
- Sugar-salt
- Dehydrated jalapeños
- Plates (not included)
- Shaker jar
How to build this cocktail:
- Using 2 small plates, add about ½ oz of water to the first, and sugar-salt to the second
- Dip the rim of the glass into the water on the first plate, then the sugar-salt on the second. Set glass aside while you build the drink
- Measure 1.5 oz of pouch marked Margarita (aka tequila), and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked spicy passion fruit elderflower, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lime and add to the shaker jar
- Add about a ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
- Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake for 8-10 seconds
- Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into ice-filled, rimmed glass
- Garnish by floating jalapeños on top of cocktail
Blood Orange Margarita
What you need:
- 1.5 oz tequila (or non alcoholic gin)
- Pouch marked blood orange
- Pouch marked orange simple
- Pouch marked lime
- Ice for building and serving
- White Salt
- Dehydrated blood orange
- Plates (not includes)
- Shaker jar
How to build your cocktail:
- Using 2 small plates, add about ½ oz of water to the first, and salt to the second
- Dip the rim of the glass into the water on the first plate, then the salt on the second. Set glass aside while you build the drink
- Measure 1.5 oz of pouch marked Margarita (aka tequila), and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked blood orange, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked orange simple, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lime and add to the shaker jar
- Add about a ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar, and shake for 8-10 seconds
- Remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into ice-filled, rimmed glass
- Garnish with a blood orange on rim of glass
