Speakeasy Volume 3 Instructions

**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

 

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors if you have them available.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

SPEAKEASY VOLUME #3


Last Word

Gin, chartreuse, maraschino, lime 


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • Pouch marked Last Word
  • Pouch marked Lime
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Maraschino cherry
  • Ice for building (not included)

How to build this cocktail


    1. Empty the pouch marked Last Word to the shaker jar
    2. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lime, and add to the shaker jar
    3. Add about ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar 
    4. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
    5. Shake the cocktail for 12-15 seconds
    6. remove the ring and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into your glassware of choice (we recommend a coupe style glass for this drink)
    7. Garnish the cocktail with the maraschino cherry on the garnish skewer





BFA Zombie

Spiced, dark, & white rum, bourbon, brandy, amaro, pineapple, strawberry, cinnamon, grapefruit, falernum, citrus (Contains nuts, and dairy)


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • Pouch marked Zombie (***contains trace amounts of dairy)
  • Pouch marked Cinnamon Grapefruit
  • Pouch marked Falernum (***contains nuts)
  • Pouch marked lime
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Mini Umbrella
  • Zombie candy
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Ice for building, and serving

How to build this cocktail


  1. Empty the pouch marked Zombie into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lime, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked Cinnamon Grapefruit, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Falernum, and add it to the shaker jar
  5. Add about ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  6. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  7. Shake the cocktail for 10-12 seconds
  8. Remove the the ring from the shaker jar, and slide the cover off enough to strain the cocktail into an ice filled glass of your choice (we recommend a tall glass for this drink) 
  9. Garnish the cocktail with the mini umbrella, and the zombie candy on the garnish skewer

Not a Salad

Apple-fennel infused tequila, dry sherry, agave, lime, egg white


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • Pouch marked Not a Salad
  • Pouch marked agave
  • Pouch marked lime
  • Pouch marked with an Egg 
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Toasted fennel seeds
  • Ice for building the cocktail (not included)

How to build this cocktail


  1. Empty the pouch marker Not a Salad into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Agave, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Lime, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked with an egg, and add to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  6. Dry shake (no ice) all the ingredients for 15- 20 seconds as hard as your arms can handle
  7. remove the ring and cover from the shaker jar, and add about ¼ cup of ice, replace the ring and cover.
  8. Shake the cocktail for an additional 8-10 seconds
  9. remove the ring, and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into your glassware of choice (we recommend a coupe style glass)
  10. Garnish the cocktail by sprinkling the toasted fennel seeds on the foam of the cocktail




Buttered Up

Butter-washed whiskey, herb liqueur, peach, corn, smoke


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • Pouch marked Buttered Up
  • Pouch marked Peach and Corn
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Wood chip
  • Lighter (not included)
  • 1 small plate (not included)
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Popcorn
  • Bamboo garnish skewer

How to build this cocktail


  1. Using a lighter in a well ventilated area, light the wood chip on fire and let it burn for as long as you can without burning your fingers
  2. Once the the wood chip has some nice red embers, blow out the flame, place the chip on the small plate, and cover the wood chip with the glassware you want to use for this cocktail
  3. Set the smoking glass aside while you build the cocktail 
  4. Empty the pouch marked Buttered Up to the shaker jar
  5. Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked Peach and Corn, and add to the shaker jar
  6. Add about ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  7. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  8. Shake the cocktail for 15-20 seconds
  9. Remove the glass from the plate, and add a few ice cubes
  10. Remove the ring and slide the cover off the shaker just enough to strain the cocktail into your smoked glass (we recommend a rocks style glass)
  11. Garnish with popcorn on the bamboo garnish skewer
