Toronto Bourbon Instructions
**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 2-3 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**
Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.
*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure. The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz. The cup full is 2 oz. Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.
** We recommend opening the packages using scissors if you have them available. Please cut above the reseal line. Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.
***We have included a pour spout for use with your Bourbon bottle.
**** This kit is designed to create 2 of each of the cocktails listed below if you have chosen the BFA option, 4 if you have ordered the Social format.
Boulevard BFA
Bourbon, Italian bitters, vermouth
What you will need to build this cocktail
- Bourbon 1.5 oz
- Bitter - Vermouth pouch
- Mixing jar
- Red solo cup measure
- Ice for building and serving
- Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
- Bamboo garnish skewer
- Amarena cherry
How to build your cocktail
- Measure 1.5 oz of bourbon and add to the mixing jar
- Measure 3.0 oz from the pouch marked Bitter-Vermouth and add to the mixing jar
- Add about ½ cup of ice to the mixing jar
- Using the fat end of the bar spoon ( wooden skewer ) stir the cocktail for 20 seconds
- Replace the cover back to jar leaving just enough space to strain the cocktail into an ice filled glass
- Garnish with an amarena cherry on a garnish skewer
Smoked Vanilla Chai Old Fashioned
Bourbon, vanilla, chai, bitters, sugar, smoke
- Bourbon 1.5 oz
- Vanilla-Chai pouch
- Mixing jar
- Red solo cup measure
- Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
- Wood chip
- 1 small plate (not provided)
- Lighter or kitchen torch (not provided)
- Splash of water (not provided)
- Angostura bitter soaked cube
- Garnish with dried orange wheel
How to build your cocktail
- Add the sugar cube to the mixing jar, and add a splash of water to help soften it
- Break up the cube using the thick end of the bar spoon
- Measure 1.5 oz of Bourbon and add to the mixing jar
- Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Vanilla-Chai, and add to the mixing jar
- Using a small plate and a lighter (not provided), in a well ventilated area, light your wood chip on fire. Be patient with this step: you want to make sure the chip is burning well before you blow it out.
- Blow out the wood chip and quickly place it on the plate. Cover with a rocks style glass, smoking the glass while you build the drink
- Add about a 1/2 cup of ice to the mixing jar
- Place the thick end of the bar spoon into the mixing jar and stir the cocktail for 20-25 seconds
- Add ice to smoked glass
- Replace the cover of the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into the prepared rocks glass
- Garnish with orange wheel
Bourbon Strawberry Sour
Bourbon, brandy, strawberry, lemon, egg white
What you will need to build this cocktail
- Bourbon 1.5 oz
- Brandy- Strawberry pouch
- Simple pouch
- Lemon pouch
- Egg white pouch
- Shaker jar
- Red solo cup measure
- Ice for building
- Dried strawberries
How to build this cocktail
- Measure 1.5 oz from the bottle of Bourbon and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked Brandy-Strawberry and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lemon and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked simple and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked egg whites and add to the shaker jar
- Replace the lid and cover to the shaker jar
- Dry shake (no ice) all ingredients as hard as you can for 20 seconds
- Remove the lid and cover, and add ¼ cup of ice
- Replace the lid and cover to the shaker jar
- Shake for additional 8-10 seconds
- Remove the lid and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this drink straight up)
- Garnish with dehydrated strawberries
In A Bubble
Bourbon, rum, maraschino, pineapple mint shrub, lemon
What you will need to build this cocktail
- Bourbon 1.5 oz
- Pineapple Mint Shrub pouch
- Lemon pouch
- Rum- Maraschino- Ginger pouch
- Mixing jar
- Red solo cup measure
- Ice for building and serving
- Pineapple strip
How to build this cocktail
- Measure 1.5 oz from the bottle of bourbon, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked Rum-Maraschino-Ginger, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked Pineapple-Mint-Shrub, and add to the shaker jar
- Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lemon, and add to the shaker jar
- Add ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
- Replace the lid and cover to the jar
- Shake the cocktail for 15 seconds
- Remove the lid and slide the cover off the jar enough to strain the cocktail into an ice filled glass
- Garnish with dehydrated pineapple across the top of the glass
