Whiskey Instructions 2022

**PLEASE NOTE THE FRESH MIXES AND GARNISHES ARE DESIGNED TO BE CONSUMED WITHIN 1-2 WEEKS FROM THE DATE RECEIVED**

Please keep all fresh items refrigerated until consumption.

 

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors if you have them available.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

Menu


Thyme for a Sour

whiskey / maple / thyme / lemon / egg white


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • 1.5 oz of rye whiskey
  • Pouch marked Maple-Thyme
  • Pouch marked with an egg
  • Pouch marked Lemon
  • Red Solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Ice for serving (not included)
  • Sprig of Thyme for garnish

How to build this cocktail


  1. Measure 1.5 oz of whiskey, and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Thyme-Maple, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure  1.0 oz from the pouch marked lemon, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked with an egg, and add to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  6. Dry shake (no ice) all the ingredients for 30-40 seconds as hard as you can
  7. Remove the lid and cover from the shaker jar, and  add about a ¼ cup of ice 
  8. Replace  the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake for an additional 8-10 seconds
  9. Remove the ring, and slide the cover off the shaker jar just enough to strain the cocktail into an ice-filled glass
  10. Garnish the cocktail with the thyme sprig on top of the foam

 

Mad in Manhattan

whiskey / amerena / madeira / smoke


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • 1.5 oz of whiskey
  • Pouch marked Mad-Amerena
  • Smoke chip
  • Barspoon (wooden skewer)
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Mixing glass
  • Small plate (not included)
  • Lighter (not included)
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Ice for serving (not included)
  • House made cherry marshmallows 
  • Bamboo garnish skewer

How to build this cocktail 


  1. Using the wood chip, lighter, and small plate in a well ventilated area, light the wood chip on fire.  Be patient with this step, try and let the embers on the chip to get nice and red before you blow out the flame, place the smoking ship on the plate, and cover with a rocks style glass
  2. Measure 1.5 oz of whiskey, and add to the mixing jar
  3. Measure  1.5 oz from the pouch marked Mad-Amerena, and add to the mixing jar
  4. Fill the mixing jar with ice
  5. Using the bar spoon, place the thicker end to the bottom of the  mixing jar
  6. Stir the cocktail for 30 - 35 seconds,  by tracing the inside of the jar with the bar spoon
  7. Remove your glass from the smoking chip, and fill with ice
  8. Replace the cover to the mixing jar, leaving enough space, to strain your cocktail into  the smoked, ice filled glass
  9. Garnish with the house made cherry marshmallows on a bamboo garnish skewer


Old Pepper

whiskey / cayenne / worcestershire / lemon / sugar


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • 1.5 oz of whiskey
  • Pouch marked Wor-Cayanne
  • Pouch marked Lemon
  • Pouch Marked Simple
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker Jar
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Ice for serving (not included)
  • Mini clothespin
  • Dried chilli pepper

How to build this cocktail


  1. Measure 1.5 oz of whiskey, and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 0.1 oz from the pouch marked Wor-Cayanne, and add to the shaker jar  **** To measure 0.1 oz  use the line at the very bottom of your red solo cup measure, this is a very small portion that packs a lot of spice
  3. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked lemon, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 1.0 oz from the pouch marked Simple, and add to the shaker jar
  5. Add about ¼ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  6. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake for 15-18 seconds
  7. Remove the ring, and slide the cover off the jar just enough to strain the cocktail into an ice-filled glass
  8. Garnish the drink by clipping the chilli pepper to the side of the glass with the mini clothespin

Bitter Bus

whiskey / raspberry / italian bitters / lemon / bubbles


What you will need to build this cocktail


  • 1.5 oz of whiskey
  • Pouch marked Bitter-Rasp
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Can of club soda
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Shaker jar
  • Ice for building (not included) 
  • Ice for serving (not included)
  • Dried raspberry to garnish

How to build this cocktail


  1. Measure 1.5 oz of whiskey, and add to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Bitter-Rasp, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lemon, and add to the shaker jar
  4. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake the cocktail for 18-20 seconds
  5. Remove the ring from the shaker jar, and slide the cover off just enough to starin the the cocktail into an ice filled glass (we recommend a collins glass)
  6. Top with 3.0 oz of club soda
  7. Garnish the cocktail by floating the dried raspberries on top of the drink
