Cocktail Club Instructions

November:

BFA 13

What you will need to build your cocktail:

  • Pouched marked all the BFA 13 (coconut infused tequila, vermouth, cucumber shrub)
  • Pouch marked lime
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Two plates for rimming your glass (not included)
  • Ice for building and serving your drink (not provided)
  • 0.5 oz of water (not provided)
  • Toasted coconut for rimmer

 

How to build your cocktail:

  1. Using 2 small plates from your kitchen, add 0.5 oz water to one, then empty the bag of toasted coconut to the other
  2. Dip glassware of choice into the water on first plate, then into the salt on the second plate
  3. Fill rimmed glass with ice and set aside while you build your cocktail
  4. Empty the pouch marked all BFA 13 into the shaker jar.
  5. Measure 0.5 oz of the lime and add to the shaker jar
  6. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  7. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  8. Shake for 10-12 seconds
  9. Remove the ring and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail over fresh ice into glassware of choice 



Aviation Martini

What you need to make this drink:

  • Pouch marked Aviation  (gin, maraschino, creme dé violette)
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building
  • Amarena cherry
  • Skewer

 

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty Aviation pouch into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 0.5 oz lemon and add to the shaker jar
  3. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  4. Remove the ring from the jar and use the cover to strain your cocktail into your glassware of choice
  5. Garnish with cherry on a skewer, resting on the edge of glass.

 

Spicy Fifty

What you will need to build this cocktail:

  • Pouch marked Spicy Fifty (vanilla vodka)
  • Pouch marked Spicy Elderflower Honey
  • Pouch marked Lime
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building
  • Chili pepper
  • Mini Clothespin

 

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty the pouch marked Spicy Fifty into the mixing jar
  2. Empty the pouch marked Spicy Elderflower Honey into the mixing jar
  3. Measure 1 oz lime and add to the shaker jar
  4. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  5. Remove the ring from the jar and use the cover to strain your cocktail into your glassware of choice
  6. Garnish by pinning chili pepper to rim of glass with mini clothespin

 

Vieux-Carre

What you need to make this drink:

  • Pouch marked Vieux-Carre (rye, sweet vermouth, cognac, angostura bitters)
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving 
  • Dehydrated lemon 
  • Bar spoon 

 

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty the pouch marked Vieux-Carre into the mixing jar
  2. Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled with bar spoon
  3. Remove the ring and pour into ice filled glass.
  4. Garnish by placing dehydrated lemon inside glass

All The Leaves Are Brown 

What you will need to build your cocktail:

  • Pouched marked all the leaves are brown (rum,bourbon,fig liqueur)
  • Pouch marked orange honey
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building and serving your drink (not provided)
  • Cherry 
  • Skewer 

How to build your cocktail:

  1. Empty the pouch marked all the leaves are brown into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz of the orange honey and add to the shaker jar
  3. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar
  4. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  5. Shake for 10-12 seconds
  6. Remove the ring and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail over fresh ice into glassware of choice 
  7. Garnish with skewered cherry

Pomegranate Sidecar

What you need to make this drink:

  • Pouch marked sidecar  (brandy orange liqueur)
  • Pouch marked pomegranate syrup
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving
  • 2 small plates 
  • Sugar rimmer

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Using 2 small plates, add about ½ oz of water to the first, and sugar rimmer to the second plate
  2. Garnglass by dipping the rim of the glass into the water on the first plate, then the sugar on the second.
  3. Empty brandy orange liqueur pouch into the shaker jar
  4. Measure 1 oz pomegranate syrup and add the the shaker jar
  5. Measure 0.5 oz lemon and add to the shaker jar
  6. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  7. Remove the ring from the jar and use the cover to strain your cocktail into your glassware of choice
  8. Garnish with orange wheel

Sazerac

What you will need to build this cocktail:

  • Pouch marked sazerac (rye cognac)
  • Absinthe pipette 
  • Angostura sugar cube
  • Mixing jar
  • Red solo cup measure 
  • Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Lemon zest

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Rinse your glassware of choice with absinthe, discarding any excess, and set aside.
  2. Muddle the sugar cube and 1 tsp water in the mixing jar
  3. Empty the pouch marked sazerac into the mixing jar
  4. Fill the mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled
  5. Remove the ring and use the cover to strain into the prepared glass.
  6. Twist the lemon peel over the drink’s surface to express the peel’s oils, then garnish with the peel and skewer

Fall Apple Martini

What you need to make this drink:

  • Pouch marked fall apple martini (vodka, calvados)
  • Pouch marked apple cider
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving 
  • Cinnamon stick

How to make this cocktail:

  1. Empty the pouch marked fall apple martini into the shaker
  2. Measure 1 oz apple cider and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5oz lemon and add to the shaker jar
  4. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker and sake for 10-12 seconds 
  5. Remove ring and Replace the cover onto the jar leaving enough space to strain the ice from the cocktail, into glassware of choice 
  6. Garnish with cinnamon stick resting on the rim of the glass

Sage Advice

What you will need to build your cocktail:

  • Gin (pouch marked sage advice)
  • Apple Cider Sage
  • Lemon
  • Marmalade
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building and serving your drink (not provided)
  • Apple ring

How to build your cocktail:

  1. Empty the gin pouch marked sage advice into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 2.5 oz of the Apple Cider Sage and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz of Lemon and add to the shaker jar
  4. Measure ½ teaspoon of Apricot jam and add to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar
  6. Shake for 10-12 seconds
  7. Remove the ring and slide the cover just enough to strain the cocktail over ice into glassware of choice 
  8. Garnish with apple ring

Dirty Chai Martini

What you need to make this drink:

  • Vodka (pouch marked dirty chai martini)
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving
  • Pouch marked coffee chai 
  • Vodkow creamer
  • Vanilla wafer cookie

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty the vodka pouch marked dirty chai martini into the shaker jar
  2. Measure 3oz coffee chai and add the the shaker jar
  3. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  4. Remove the ring from the jar and use the cover to strain your cocktail into your ice filled glassware of choice
  5. Top with vodkow creamer
  6. Garnish with vanilla wafer cookie

Smoked Maple Manhattan

What you will need to build this cocktail:

  • Whiskey (pouch marked smoked maple manhattan)
  • Pouch marked maple vermouth
  • Mixing jar
  • Red solo cup measure 
  • Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
  • Wood chip
  • Lighter (not included)
  • Small plate (not included)
  • Bamboo garnish skewer
  • Amarena cherry
  • Ice for building
  • Recommended King cube for serving

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Using a small plate in a well-ventilated area, light the wood chip on fire, and let burn as long as you can (the more embers you get, the richer smoke aromas will be worked into the profile of this cocktail) 
  2. Once you blow out the flame, immediately place the glass you have chosen for this drink over the smoking wood chip, trapping the smoke in the glassware
  3. Empty the whisky pouch marked smoked maple manhattan and add to the mixing jar
  4. Measure 1oz from the pouch marked maple vermouth and add to the mixing jar
  5. Add about ½ cup of ice to the mixing jar, and stir the drink using the bar spoon for 20 seconds
  6. Fill your smoked glass with a king cube or regular cubes
  7. Replace the cover to the mixing jar, leaving enough of an opening to strain the cocktail into your prepped glass
  8. Garnish with cherry on garnish skewer

Sweet Corn Old Fashioned

What you need to make this drink:

  • Tequila (pouch marked sweet corn old fashioned)
  • Mini solo cup
  • Mixing jar (mason jar)
  • Ice for building and serving 
  • Bar spoon (large wooden skewer)
  • Angostura bitter soaked cube
  • Pouch marked caramel sweet corn
  • Skewer
  • Caramel corn

How to make this cocktail:

  1. Add the sugar cube to the mixing jar, and add a splash of water to help soften it 
  2. Break up the cube using the thick end of the bar spoon
  3. Empty the tequila pouch marked sweet corn old fashioned into the mixing jar
  4. Fill the mixing glass with ice
  5. Using your bar spoon place the thicker end at the bottom of the mixing jar and trace the inside of the jar stirring the drink for 10-15 seconds
  6. Replace the cover onto the jar leaving enough space to strain the ice from the cocktail, into ice filled glassware of choice (we recommend a king cube)
  7. Garnish by skewering caramel corn and resting on the rim of the glass

Serendipity Lemonade

What you need to build this drink:

  • Pouch marked lavender mint honey lemonade
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Pouch marked Serendipity lemonade (gin)
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar
  • Ice for building and serving
  • Dehydrated lemon
  • Straw 

How to build this cocktail:

  1. Empty the pouch marked Lavender mint honey and Serendipity lemonade into the shaker jar.
  2. Measure .5oz lemon and add to the shaker jar
  3. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  4. Remove ring and use cover to strain cocktail into ice filled glassware of choice
  5. Garnish with straw and lemon resting in glass

Here For The Summer

What you need to build this cocktail:

  • Pouch marked Here for the Summer (aka whiskey & aperol) 
  • Pouch marked lemon
  • Pouch marked Strawberry maple rhubarb
  • Mini solo cup
  • Shaker jar
  • Ice for building and serving
  • Dehydrated strawberries
  • Viv eau pressed strawberry sparkling water

How to make this drink:

  1. Empty the pouch marked Here for the summer and strawberry maple rhubarb  into the shaker jar.
  2. Measure .5oz lemon and add to the shaker jar
  3. Add ½ cup of ice to the shaker jar and shake for 10-12 seconds
  4. Remove ring and use cover to strain cocktail into ice filled glassware of choice
  5. Top with viv eau sparkling water 
  6. Garnish by floating strawberries on top of cocktail. 

Out of Office

What you will need to build this cocktail:

  • Out of Office pouch (Tequila, campari, vermouth, and  peach)
  • Lemon pouch
  • Ice (not included)
  • Shaker jar
  • Mini solo cup
  • Ice 
  • Bar spoon
  • Dehydrated orange wheel

How to make this drink:

  1. Empty Out of Office into the shaker jar
  2. Add about 1/4 cup of ice to the shaker jar
  3. Using the large end of the bar spoon, stir the cocktail for 20-30 seconds.
  4. Place cover on jar and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into glassware of choice (we recommend serving this cocktail with a king cube or glassware filled with ice)
  5. Garnish by resting dehydrated orange inside of the cocktail.

Blueberry Coconut - Clarified

What you need to build this cocktail:

  • Blueberry coconut - clarified
  • Ice (not included)
  • Shaker jar
  • Mini solo cup
  • Candied pineapple
  • Skewer

How to

  1. Empty the pouch marked Blueberry coconut - clarified into the shaker jar
  2. Add ½ cup of ice to the jar and shake for 10-12 seconds 
  3. Remove the ring and use the cover to strain the cocktail into your iced filled glassware of choice
  4. Garish by piercing pineapple candies with a skewer and resting on glass.
