Sweets & Treats Instructions

*We have included a small red solo cup to be used as your measure.  The line near the bottom is the measure for .5 oz.  The cup full is 2 oz.  Anytime you are measuring less than 2 oz, we recommend using the measure of .5 oz to the cumulative total required for your drink.

** We recommend opening the packages using scissors if you have them available.  Please cut above the reseal line.  Once open, if resealing to use some at a later point, we recommend keeping the package upright and sealed until using again.

 

Of Love And Longing

Tequila / blood orange / cinnamon / agave / lime  

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Pouch marked "Of Love And Longing" (aka tequila)
  • Pouch marked Blood Orange Agave (the cinnamon is in this pouch too)
  • Pouch marked lime
  • Pouch marked with an egg
  • Shaker jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Gold flake heart candy garnish

How to build this cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked "Of Love and Longing", and add it to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Blood Orange Agave, and add it to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lime, and add it to the shaker jar
  4. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked with an egg, and add it to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and dry shake (no ice) the cocktail for 20 seconds as hard as you can
  6. Remove the ring and cover from the shaker jar, and add about 1/4 cup of ice
  7. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake for an additional 10-12 seconds
  8. Remove the ring from the shaker jar, and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into your glass
  9. Garnish by resting the gold flake candy on the rim (the stick in the candy will help balance it there) of the glass 

 Paired with the Milk chocolate truffle with goat cheese and balsamic

If Your a Bird, Im a Bird

Vodka / amaretto / strawberry / rose / lime / sparkling wine

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Pouch marked "If your a bird, Im a Bird" (aka vodka)
  • Pouch marked Strawberry Amaretto Rose
  • Pouch marked lime
  • Bottle of sparkling wine
  • Shaker Jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Ice for building (not included)
  • Sparkling royal icing flower
  • Heart skewer

How to build this cocktail

  1. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked "If Your a Bird, Im a Bird", and add it to the shaker jar
  2. Measure 1.5 oz from the pouch marked Strawberry Amaretto Rose, and add to the shaker jar
  3. Measure 0.5 oz from the pouch marked lime, and add it to the shaker jar
  4. Add 1/4 cup of ice to the shaker jar
  5. Replace the ring and cover to the shaker jar, and shake the cocktail for 15-20 seconds
  6. Remove the ring from the shaker jar and slide the cover off just enough to strain the cocktail into your glassware of choice
  7. Top with 3 oz of sparkling wine
  8. Lay the heart skewer across the top of the glass near the edge, so that you are able to rest the sparkling royal icing rose on the edge of the glass and the heart skewer

Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner

Whiskey / chocolate / bitters / smoke

What you will need to build this cocktail

  • Pouch marked "Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner" (aka whiskey)
  • Pouch marked Chocolate Simple
  • Bitter soaked sugar cube
  • Mixing Jar
  • Red solo cup measure
  • Smoke chip
  • Chocolate orange
  • Bar spoon (wooden skewer)
  • Lighter (not included)
  • Small Plate ( not included)

 How to build this cocktail

  1. Using a lighter, small plate, and wood chip in a well ventilated area, light the wood chip on fire.  You really want to let the chip burn till you see the nice red embers, once you do blow out the flame, place the chip on a plate, and cover with the glass you plan on serving the drink in
  2. Add the bitter soaked sugar cube to the mixing glass
  3. Add a splash of water over the cube to soften it a little
  4. Using the fatter end of the bar spoon (wooden skewer), break up the bitter soaked sugar cube
  5. Measure 2.0 oz from the pouch marked "Nobody Puts Baby In A Corner", and add to the mixing jar
  6. Measure 0.5 oz from thee pouch marked Chocolate Simple, and add to the mixing jar
  7. Add about 1/2 cup of ice to the mixing jar
  8. Using the bar spoon, place the fat end on the bottom of the mixing jar, trace the inside of the of the opening of the jar to stir the cocktail for 20-30 seconds
  9. Remove the glass from the plate with the smoke chip, and fill with ice
  10. Replace the cover to the mouth of the jar, leaving just enough room to strain the cocktail, into the seasoned, ice-filled glass
  11. Garnish with the chocolate orange
